They have both been through training. Rotts just have a bad rap because a lot of people that own them don't know what the hell they are doing. My 100+ pound rotts hang with my 20lb Lhaso. They love kids etc.

                                                                                                                                                  They are protective though. If someone raises a hand to me even in a joking manner they perk up and look to me to be sure its ok.
