"The grand jury that handed up the indictment had been hearing the case for nearly two years and its term expires Friday."

Obviously a rush to judgement. The real criminals are still out there. Im sure scooter will not rest until the real criminals are found and brought to justice.

im not gettin my hopes up about this... but it would be soooo great if all these indictments went thru and were prosecuted and convicted.... i dont know about you all, but i will be happy to take a few months of chaos, reform and replacement over the fucking bush crowd anyday.... some smart old dead guy once said something like.. "periodically the nation has to cleans itself with the blood of sumthin err' nuther"... i think they mighta meant poeple like bush. lol

edited to say: the only bush i like is baked beans, and pussy.

Wasn't the testimony that Tenet gave the info to Cheney, then Cheney gave it to Libby for this purpose?

It's perfectly legal and fine for Tenet to give that info to the VP btw. He has almost as high a clearance as the president for info like that.

Hey, where are all those conservative fucks spouting how bad Clinton was and how pure and innocent this administration is.

Like it was just this one guy......yeah right.

1870 was the last time a white house official was indicted.

Bush really brought dignity and integrity to the white house.,

                                                                From the Transcript:

QUESTION: Can you say whether or not you know whether Mr. Libby knew that Valerie Wilson's identity was covert and whether or not that was pivotal at all in your inability or your decision not to charge under the Intelligence Identity Protection Act?

FITZGERALD: Let me say two things. Number one, I am not speaking to whether or not Valerie Wilson was covert. And anything I say is not intended to say anything beyond this: that she was a CIA officer from January 1st, 2002, forward.

I will confirm that her association with the CIA was classified at that time through July 2003. And all I'll say is that, look, we have not made any allegation that Mr. Libby knowingly, intentionally outed a covert agent.

FITZGERALD: We have not charged that. And so I'm not making that assertion.

Someone with connections at his bank or if someone knows a manager of a bank or something like that can ask them in private conversation to exchange him $100 Federal Notes for the new rainbow colored US Treasury Notes, which are totally new with all the colors of the rainbow and with an eagle... most of the banks have the new money already... the personnel have a gag order until the announcement but few have succeded in getting information and actually to see the money... this is from 1st october... federal reserve is going down and new rainbow money backed up by gold will be introduced... these announcements will be made soon

Afterwards, it was amazing to see the actual on air people pointing the finger at the mayor and state, and not wanting to blame Bush or anything federal for anything. Even after that phony Brown got fire, it was still the Govenor's fault, the mayor's fault.

Anyone who claims to be the "no spin zone" and then starts with "talking points" need to get himself checked into the new bedlam medical resting home... he truly doesn't realize what he is doing. There is no spin only because your head is shoved so far up Bush's ass that you are spinning with him. Keep focused on the crap in front of your eyes, and NOTHING appears to be spinning.

He is lucky that there are no strident, indignant, and pompous liberal talk show hosts (outside of Al Franken) to stir up the population the same way that the conservatives did when they found out that Clinton got a humjob from an intern. Leaking a CIA agent name is a matter of national security, getting your cock sucked by a chubby intern is a matter of personal preference.

One by one, the mighty republicans are falling to their arrogance, greed, and blatant attempts to manipulate the media to shut people up. The public should be outraged that the entire intent of this whole process was to discredit someone who dared to write in public that the reasons for the Iraq war were not true - well before the troops were sent in.

Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction, they did no buy "yellow cake" uranium in africa, and they were not an immediate threat to anyone, except possibly the fashion police.

Revealing Plume's name was an attempt to discredit and drown out her husband.

Let it go man, Clinton did nothing wrong except for his pick of women.

Bush on the other hand has sent 2000 us soldiers to the grave along with tens of thousands of maimed soldiers. Lets not even talk about Iraqi kids and women. All for his oil buddies who just fucked us again with the last hurricane.

Yep just supply and demand right. Once again Exxon just had the highest quarterly profit in US history. That's 2 quarters running.
I hope they get that windfall tax passed and tax the fuck out of these a-holes.
I couldn't give a rats ass who clinton had sex with. I'm talking about selling military secrets to foreign goverments in exchange for illegal campaign contributions, etc.. Clinton permitted the sale of sensitive and sophisticated satellite, computer, encryption, weapons and guidance system to China for an estimated $5,000,000 in soft-money contributions.

The Clinton administration refused to comply with a 1999 law passed by Congress which required the White House to identify the businesses in the United States affiliated with Beijing. The FBI identified more than 3,000 Chinese government -linked businesses operating in the US; more than 300 of these firms provide funding for Beijing's military and provide spies for intelligent-gathering activities.

Clinton refused to release the names of businessmen accompanying him on an Indonesian trip in November 1994 although public money and planes were used for the trip. More than $40 billion in contracts were signed during the trip.

White House counsel Vince Foster commits suicide. The Clintons sent Maggie Williams to clean his office of any offending or incriminating papers before investigators arrive.

and like I pointed out before:

The list is almost endless, and I could continue it, if you like. In the meantime, since CNN, (Clinton News Network), just kept screaming that it was all about sex, no body paid any attention.

ahhhh.... well. I'm sure that you will just continue with personal insults to anyone that dares to disagree with you. Viva Democracy, eh?

Bush's staff is very obviously now involved in activities to intimidate people who attempt to use their right to free speech. Forget all the soldiers, the oil, whatever - the attck is right on your first amendment rights and your rights to live free safely.

In case you haven't figured it out, that is also why there is a war on porn, war on naughty radio, dirty TV, and 101 other things... all taking away your rights to free speech and to hear the free speech of others.

What Libby and his partners in crime did was try to shut up a commentator by putting one of his family members in peril. A threat, intimidation, blackmail. Call it what you like. The only thing saving a bunch of higher-ups in the republican group right now is that old buddy Scooter is lying like the Iraqi Information Minister.

Follow your nose... follow the ideas... who benefits from the actions?

At the end of the day, it lands on the boy's desk... and he isn't man enough to take responsibility.

                                                                                                Alex

My bet is he's gonna name some really conservative fuck for supreme court. Probably on tues.
