Our statistics for Germany show: 70% Direct Debit, 20% CC and 10% SMS, Phone and other alternative payment solutions. And that's not going to change a lot.
- chargebacks are higher, but also the signup ratio - 100% of Germans have a bank account. We do not have checks there anymore. So even wellfare, unemployment money, childrens money etc will just be paid per wire.
But - password by phone is a great alternative to have in addition to direct debit (have to write that, or Tanja will not like me anymore :D )
No - honestly - it is a great addition and an alternative for people who don't want to use their bank account - even if at the end his phonebill will be paid per direct debit ;)
