    damn,how long has TGP traffic been so bad?

    these days its damn near impossible for surfers to get to a gallery.They click and click and click hoping to reach a gallery and never do


    When i ran tgp sites the surfer would always get galleries on the first few clicks but now a days its all shuffling back and forth

                  Which is why all my tgp sites have no scripts on them - and I now host the galleries myself or build them from scratch myself. Good for SERPs, and good for the surfer, and I don't trade - keep getting burned over and over and over again.

                          seems you have to really find the niche that sells with the high traffic sites. and it is true ratios are going up, used to be easy 1:700 now it looks like 1:1200 or more !!!

                                      I skim 70-80% to galleries and sales still suck as compared to other site types...especially for the last month or so...

                                      Doing the worst I've ever done TGPwise. I'm pretty much just keepin em to give PR boosts to other sites at this point.

                                              To some extend it's the recent spyware wave which especially poisons TGP traffic.

                                              Most TGPs make almost all their money from selling submit passes, gallery spots and skimmed traffic, not a big secret, so they focus on maximum traffic to make buyers think they get alot for their money.

                                              There are quality TGPs for sure, around for a long time with a solid bookmarker base, but the rest is just a waste of money and bandwidth...and there are still enough fools who pay for shit.

                                                  I think the only content a surfer needs to see is on tours. They are fukkin Movie gallery-like nowadays anyway. Kick the surfer around and make him appreciate the tours so he's more likely to sign up.

                                                                  the worst is when they click on thumbs that lead them to shady TGPs that install scumwares and viruses.. Some people I know are telling me that they are afraid to browse free adult websites like TGPs cause they'll get infected with something.. THat cannot be good for the biz.. and I think its something that needs to be adressed..

It's like a TGP because of the thumbs but that's about it, instead of galleries we post the content itself and host everything on our own. It gives surfers a great experience and keeps them coming back.

                                                                                                  Of course we send signups, how else would we be able to pay for the bandwidth? We give them the same amount of content than any gallery would, they just don't have to click a bunch of places to get to it. We try to make it a better surfer experience..

There are some tgp's out there where every click goes to a trade, I saw one the other day where ALL the thumbs were linked to TrafficHolder.
