i see that as a failure... the commercials are funny cause they're 30secs an entire 24min show trying to be funny for 11 episodes will be tough, especially on a network known for having boring shows.

someone also told me that they aren't using the same guys from the commercials .. that will make it even less funny

Well, if they don't have the same guys from the commercials, for sure it's not gonna be funny. The reaction of the main caveman in the commercials are what makes them funny, if they put someone else on the show trying the same stuff, it's just gonna seem strange.
