    Phil Spector on trial...Should they just electrocute him or what?

    The more I watch this trial's news the more I realize that there are people in this world that shouldn't be amongst the rest of us.

    Phil Spector is a real nutcase and should be put under the jail with a diet of cheese and well water for the rest of his life.

                              He's accused of shooting to death a model in his mansion. He denies it but an army of ex girlfriends are showing up testifying how he often would threaten them with guns. Dude is a woman abuser and is going down in flames.

                                          He used to beat Ronnie Spector's (lead singer of the Ronette's) ass back in the '60's and its pretty well known that he put a gun to her head and threatened her many times. Of course, this could all end up just like the OJ trial where money and celebrity let him walk.

                                                                                  The funny part is all these people who never filed charges that suddenly remember him pointing a gun at them. I really do think the girl that died really did commit suicide, but he is likely to get convicted because of all of these other incidents.

                                                                                          It matters little what he looks like, what his brain capacity is or how eccentric his behavior may be, he obviously has some talent in his chosen career.

                                                                                          The only thing that matters is what evidence is available to support the case that he murdered someone. It's easy to judge from press reports, but they rarely tell the subtle detail.

                                                                                          Sure... surprised the prosecution is dragging out a string of witnesses claiming firearms-related incidents to presumably suggest a scenario and cast doubt - would hope that's the "standby" and they have *actual evidence" - not some verbal from people who were never at the location of the death. That could be in indication of weakness in the case, or just added embellishment to add doubt, - who knows?

                                                                                          He did make fairly damning statements to LE at the time of the death and presumably there is *some* forensics from the SOC - so seems fair for him to answer for this. Eccentricity never was a defense

                                                                                              PS Dunno if it's the same in the US, but in some countries the prosecution tends to do who could be called, "the witness swamp" where they pull trails of "witnesses", where each has little to offer and often totally disconnected to the case.

                                                                                              Example... in the Spector example that could be... Witness 222 is a girl who works in a cafe half a mile from his house who will given evidence she saw what looked like a number of models driving by her cafe to Spector's home *lol*

                                                                                              The idea is keep throwing "witnesses" at the jury till they drown - kinda the same as wheeling cartons of what is assumed to be "evidence" into court, but the cartons contain blank photocopy paper from the stationery room Damned legal profession

Today the prosecution's top witness is the chauffer who was there at the scene. He says he saw Spector with the smoking gun in his hand, blood on his hand and Spector then told him " I think I just killed someone. ". The chauffeur then went inside and saw the woman with a bullet hole in her mug with blood pouring out.
