I didn't recognize the city, is this in America?
If so, you need to tack on about 10 years to that "3-4", unless he rats someone out, you can't get away with felony attempted murder during the commission of a crime...a drug crime...and only get 3 years, unless of course he has a great, expensive, attorney.
