My requirements are:
500GB external.
Must have USB 2.0 (iMac G4 connect)
Must have Firewire 400 (Sony Vaio laptop connect)
Must be under $225
eSATA interface seems like it's a pain in the ass and I don't need its transfer speed so I'm not sure if I would get that since I don't think my Mac can work it.
So far, I've looked at
LaCie and
Western Digital. I'm open to other suggestions and welcome all comments.
