Ya and the government has a plan to leverage their highly educated population by moving headlong into the pharmaceutical insdustry.
It's pure slavery - exploiting their people (researchers, doctors, etc) and forcing them to work on whatever the government tells them to, to enrich a select few individuals. It's criminal. Doctor, lawyers, engineers - used and exploited by their government and forced to live in squalor.
Cuba is a sad, sad country. I feel sorry for every single person who is forced to live under that regime. And yes, I have been there, several times.
