The girls in LA show up and even better than that, they show up on time. The convenience of calling up LA Direct or any number of the other agencies makes it worthwhile for us to call up, tell them who and what I am shooting, then fly down to LA and begin production. In Seattle, Portland, and other places I have shot in my neck of the woods, you have to double or triple book to make sure we have enough models for the scenes we need to shoot. There are plenty of newbie talent coming through LA and if you catch them early enough you can get scenes where the talent hasn't been saturated by the other producers.
