If you're not planning on gaming, definitely the Powerbook.

I have the 17 inch Powerbook and ill tell you right now its very portable, its too big. And the 12.5 inch is just waaaay too small. If you do decide to go with a mac, go for the 15inch. But overall, unless your'e planing on doing music or graphics on it, go for a Windows OS.

12" is a perfect size for me, ultra portable, light, and big enough for anything I need to do.

And of course a 17" laptop isn't very portable. What were you expecting?

I have the 15in Powerbook. Wouldn't use a PC based laptop after having this.

Yup this is the one i was looking at. Currently on a SONY GRX - its been a great beast of a machine but way to heavy when im on the road.

                              powerbook the best...
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
