i can understand the felons part, but whatever happened to:
"Give us your poor, your tired, your huddled masses longing to be free..."
i don't see how smoking a joint, or taking lsd makes you a bad person, or a threat to society.

the use of fear to herd the population towards cessation of any and all civil liberties is a dangerous and despicable practice. it is done so gradually that most people do not notice, or can easily rationalize it away, but over time the ideals our fore-fathers founded this country on are being corroded and removed. it is a sad time we live in when we become prisoners in our own minds.
