oh man I have been trying for the past 2 months to get a few domains pushed from registerfly (from when they were a reseller for enom) over to enom. I had numerous support tickets, and emails phone calls etc basically saying the exact same thing over and over and over again. It started with me getting an email from enom:
Dear Rip Raster:
This is a formal notice to owners of domains which have been registered through eNom via its reseller, RegisterFly.com.
YOU MUST TAKE ACTION NOW TO RETAIN FULL MANAGEMENT RIGHTS TO YOUR DOMAIN NAME.
Although you purchased your name at RegisterFly, eNom is the actual registrar of record for your domains. As we are severing our relationship with RegisterFly, we are aware that this may have an impact on you as the domain owner.
Therefore we would like to offer this opportunity to assist you in securing control of your domain name directly with eNom.
I had somewhere around 20 domains at registerfly all purchased when registerfly was reselling for enom.
Up until this time I had not had any problems with either registrar and had just paid to have several domains renewed at registerfly that were set to expire. The renewals never went through despite having been paid for. I also clicked on the link in the email from enom to get my domains transferred out of registerfly. I actually got an email from enom stating that the domain transfers failed. For 3 weeks I tried to get ahold of someone at registerfly to find out what was up with the renewals that I paid for and to get authorization codes for domain transfer. None of my support tickets were answered and when trying to contact them on the phone I would be put on hold for up to 1 hour (long distance) only to be redirected to an answering machine that tells me to leave a message, but can not because mailbox is full
I was sooo fed up I finally charged back for the renewals, and guess what? within 12 hours my registerfly account was suspended for fraud and all of my domains transferred into a fraud account pending investigation. What a joke!!
All this time I had still been trying to get all my domains transferred to enom but was not able to get the authorization codes from registerfly. Then I get this from enom
Hello:
Generally, we can get your domain out of RegisterFly for you so that you have full control over it etc. However, if RegisterFly has moved the domains to a fraud account, we may not be able to reach them.
In order to get your domains out of RegisterFly, we will need three things from you:
1. We will need a written request from you stating that you are the owner of such and such domains and you would like to have them pushed over to an eNom Central account. If you do not have an eNom Central account, you will need to log on to enomcentral.com and create a free account, and then provide us with that login.
2. A screen shot of your domains inside of the RegisterFly account
3. A copy of your valid, government issued ID.
You can either email or fax that info to us.

I now realize that 3 of my domains were successfully transferred to enom without any of the info that they claimed that they needed, and the transfers were done before my registerfly account was suspended.
So I open a support ticket at enom:
Three of my domains were transferred to enom without any of the information that you say is needed for the transfer to take place. All of the domains that I had at registerfly are showing enom as the registrar so I am not sure why only 3 of them were transferred out.
Enoms response:
The reason that only 3 domains were transferred automatically is because only those 3 domains originated under eNom, the other domains either were not registered while RegisterFly was a reseller of eNom, or the domains were since moved by RegisterFly to a different account. If the domains were moved (which many were) then our tool to search for the domains automatically would not find them because they would not appear to have originated as a RegisterFly reseller account. The process that we outlined is the only way to retrieve your domains.
to which I reply:
As I said I am wondering why only three of my domains were transferred over to enom???? the very last domain that I registered was domain.com which was one of the three domains transferred over to enom. So according to what you are saying all of the other domains in that account should have been transferred over to enom but were not. All of the other domains which I have already listed were registered before and were in the same account as the other three when they were transferred over with no authorization codes. They were transferred over on 3/6/07 it was not until 3/28/07 that registerfly suspended my account for a chargeback for services not rendered, during which time I was trying to transfer all other domains out but was told I needed authorization codes which registerfly would not provide. Which as it looks I really did not need as those other three domains were transferred without them. I would really like those other domains transferred over to enom, this situation is getting to be a little ridiculous.
Enoms response:
What I am saying is that the domains were most likely moved, by registerfly to another account. This would have nothing to do with when you registered the domains.
to which I reply:
What I am saying is that they were all in the same account as the three that were transferred to enom when they were transferred to enom and for three weeks after. So I ask again why were they not transferred over with the other three? and when am I going to get my domains back???
Enoms response:
Support Ticket Closed
I eventually managed to get my domains out of registerfly and over to enom, but the domains that I had paid to have renewed expired during all this time and enom wants $160 each to renew them now
What a crock of shit. Only one of those domains is of any importance, when I talked to the guy at tech support he said he could lower the price to $60. I said fuck that man I'll pay the $10 renewal fee, if they were transferred over when they transferred the other 3 domains I wouldn't have to go through all this shit and they wouldn't have expired. He said he couldn't authorize that and that I would have to talk to his supervisor. She has yet to return my calls, it's been 4 days now.
