I want to go to a movie tonight but don't know if anything is out worth watching. Fill me in guys, anything good out right now? This seems like a pretty slow year aside from a few huge hits.

Slow year? The number of good movies that have come out since the turn of the century I could count on one hand. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty I'm entertained enough to watch, but most aren't anything worth paying admission to the theaters for...
as for advice...well "The Fog" is the biggest money maker at the moment, but whether or not it's good /shrug. Only movie I'd even consider seeing that's out at the moment is "40 year old virgin" but I've heard mixed commentaries about that movie as well.Comment

Smaller productions have always been better (IMO) because they don't have the money to spend on mass hype advertising like the big boys do now. if you want to go see a good movie see "Serenity" its a big budget sci-fi epic movie with as much and as good special fx, better plot, better acting, better script, and funny too.
