Site Offers Free Adult Web Hosting
October 24, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Adult Web host provider FastFreeAdultHosting.com (fastfreeadulthosting.com) announced on Monday it has officially launched its free adult Web hosting service.
The new service includes all standard features of paid Web hosting, as well as a custom developed control panel, FTP access, and a reward based account capacity system. Customers are provided with 250MB of storage space and 100GB of data transfer upon signup, with free upgrading of resources as their visitor traffic grows.
"There really isn't a difference between what we offer our users, and what paid hosts offer," says Dave Johnson, lead developer of the site. "Except, of course, our service is completely free, and we reward our loyal users."
The company says it will support the service by placing advertising on hosted pages ? two banners that do not contain any redirects or malicious code.
Other features of the service include PHP, MySQL access, CGI, PERL, ImageMagik, and the ability to control the content of 404 error pages. -

You shouldn't mix paid hosting with free hosting
Eventualy you will close the free host on or before you 404 all the traffic. Free hosting is a dead market and has been for a few years.

I have a domain there, here is the good and the bad in my experience.
The good:
Setup was fast.
Real FTP, stats, you can run scripts etc.
Nice control panel. Just like a paid host.
Very very fast. As fast as my paid hosting is.
Very stable. I didn't have any downtime yet.
You get your 404's. If they shut down tomorrow, it is your domain so they can't redirect your traffic. You just move your domain.
The bad:
That was a NASTY load of bullshit pulling that iframe thing on the top header. I got approved for a Hun listing BEFORE the iframe banner appeared, any my site never did get listed because of that thing appearing AFTER my approval at the Hun.
I opened two tickets at e5hosting.com because none of the e-mail addresses on your free host were working. Neither ticket got answered. Haven't heard a thing.
Other than that, I can't think of really anything overtly bad. When I joined you only had a footer and sticking that huge assed banner up top was unexpected. Never thought you guys would take headers, too.
But it is free, and it has been pretty decent besides the iframe thing. Still pissed about that....It's hard enough getting listed on decent tgp's without having to worry about shit like that.Comment

Yes we enabled the iframe, but we made it very clear via email that we would enable this on some accounts. Remember until today FFAH was still in beta. On a good note... glade you are happy with speed and performance of our servers and network and found our control panel intuitive.

I signed up because I thought the ads are going to be that bangbros banner on the bottom and it did advertise non-intrusive ads, otherwise it looks almost like kinghost.com and plus with Review not aware of your new host, your banners look like my headers on galleries and would disqualify some listings, otherwise like everyone has said, it has some nice features. I say bring back the bangbros banner with the ass parade banner and leave the header free.Comment
