Yeah, i have been in the carribean and in florida - west palm beach. Its a blast. Nothing like coming up from diving, walking across the beach, and boiling up some lobster and drinking beer while you recover from the dive.

Sharks really aren't out to get divers. Its surfers and things that resemble injured animals splashing around on the surface.

Yeah, you bring a flashlight otherwise it's pitch black and you don't know which way is up. I've only done a few night dives and none were very good visibility, but it's still fun... especially when you catch a big ass lobster. They're quick though so you really have to sneak up on them and when arms length, just pin it to the ground before putting it your bag.Originally posted by mahoneyComment

I did a lot of lobster diving when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale. We would go out and spend the weekend at my buddy's beach house and lobster dive. It was really fun even though I'm not too big on Lobster.
I would recommend going, sharks or not.
