A juristic person is an artificial entity through which the law allows a group of natural persons to act as if it were a single composite individual for certain purposes.

Kind of like a jury . . . which is probably where jury came from.

The point was that if it's dumb so extend rights granted to a person to an ape then I can't see how it's not also dumb to extend these same rights to a corporation.

That article doesn't really discuss how the corporation is a jurisdictional person which is consisted of a group of natural persons so maybe there's a better article out there.

If you can't see the difference between granting a fucking monkey the status of a human, and determining that a corporation should speak as the voice of one person rather than the individual voices of all the stockholders, you have some serious issues.
