Dawn and I are off to Hawaii at the end of Sep.

We wanted to see all of the islands, not just one or two, so we booked an 11-day inter-island cruise (you don't take the ship to or from Hawaii, avoiding wasted days on open-sea crossings), and added some hotel time afterwards.

Neither of us had been before, so this seemed the best way "to see it all" (and yes, we spent the money on a decent room with a private balcony).

Maybe we'll have enough content from that trip to build a new site
