Ahhh, the age old dilemma. A man's natural urge to procreate, versus a woman's natural urge to protect.
What to do... If he's a good guy that you'll be happy living with forever, then keep him and come to a better agreement about his obvious need to "hunt". Stop the facade.
If you'd be happier without him and the hurt, then move on!
It's time to get selfish, he already has.
