Yea I've been thinking of selling my Tacoma 4 door and getting a S2000.. A friend of mine has one and I love it. I didn't think I'd like it that much but after I drove it, I was pretty impressed.

If you won't be using it as your day-to-day car, test drive a Lotus Elise - it'll blow the doors off a S2000 but it is very impractical

Awesome platform to build on, with a very stout engine. I've seen bone stock S2000 engines pump out over 500whp with just a bolt-on turbo. Crazy those F-series.

6 grand is when VTEC kicks in. pretty fast, but like all hondas no torque.
car can handle it's ass off too.

s2000 is an impressive car for it's price range, and like Lace said, 6k is the bottom of the power curve for this car. Under 6k is for city driving, over 6k is for performance driving

I few bolt on mods and this car can fucking fly!

I have a Honda Civic Type R, 200HP, same engine(yours has a few more HP tho) anyway, after 5000 it gives a boost, and it goes till 8000RPM, it's crazy, and addictive

Awesome car, but it doesn't have the same engine as the S2000. Yours is a B-series and the S2000's is an F-series. Big difference in technology internally. F > B.

Well same idea, it launches after 5.5K, s2000 has 40 more HP...And not just a bigger one, but some concept I mean

It has alot of performance and good handling in a small package.

I have an Acura RSX Type-S which has the same excellent 6-Spd and similar V-Tec engine the reaches max power at 7800RPM...

A little bigger, cheaper, and more practical than the S2000. Can go wrong with either and you'll get typical Honda reliablity with both.

the first year RSX-S came out i got one. Ive driven the S-2000. There really is no comparison. The S-2000 is a much sportier. I believe the S2k also does 0-60 in 1/2 second quicker than the RSX-S.

I had the "RSX of the month" at clubRSX.com for over a year straight, lol. I had about $55,000.00 into that car in 2001.

go for it! great performance for a 4 cylinder, good looks, cheaper on gas aswell! just rather small, so maybe not so good if you are a big fella. I want one for my next car!!
