    Less than a week until Mother's Day...what are you doing for mom?

    Wow, Mother's day is this Sunday. Does anyone have anything special planned for mom?

    I alwys try to avoid the cliches of flowers and candy. This weekend, I'm treating my mother to a day at the spa, then hooking her and my stepfather up with tickets to O and a nice dinner.

    Until a couple eyars ago, she'd never been on an airplane, so for Mother's Day, I bought he ra plane ticket to go see her sister she hadn't seen in a couple years.

    One of these days, I might just actually buy the candy and flowers...and she'll be shocked, hehe

          Just bought my wife a gold necklace for mother's day.
          Since my mom is in the US and I'm not, I'll likely just FTD something to her.

                  I was thinking about buying my mum tickets the stage performance of "Dirty Dancing". She's dropped hints the past few times I've seen her, so at least I know it's something she would really enjoy.

                  The only catch is that I'll probably have to go see it with her.
