When almost 25% of the world's population live off a dollar a day, around 15 million children die of starvation - one every 5 seconds, and children in "industrialized countries" go to bed hungry at night (the US level is 12%) - maybe there is something wrong
An recent example to illustrate the economic stupidity of the human race was - to resolve the world starvation level and clean up infrastructure (water supply etc), - it was estimated to cost around $13 billion. The happens to be the retail market value of the US and EU on perfume sales - ironic
Doubt the Reith Lecture will have much effect on GFY Marc - the most ya can expect is "shit happens" and back to the kids (sorry "webmasters"
