    A Big "Fuck You" From Playboy.....

    That's how I feel when I complain about GFY being so slow, dragging and timing out. I see complaints here everyday and yet.....Playboy does nothing about it. Isn't that like Playboy giving a big "Fuck You" to all of us? Here's a website that generates an amazing amount of cash every month and instead of Playboy taking some time to tweak out the site so that it runs smoothly and efficiently....they pretty much tell us to "Fuck Off".

    Lensman - I love you man but your weakness is showing here. Your supposed to be one of the top dogs at Playboy and you can't make a phone call and get this shit straightened out? You have an opportunity right now to "shine" with this issue and show everyone here how much control you REALLY have at Playboy. Make that call and tell them fucking IT people to get their shit together before you give all of them a fucking pink slip. I can't believe someone with as much control as you have at Playboy...and you can't seem to get this minor issue addressed.

          I have not noticed a slow down of GFY loading at all honestly.. I use gofuckyourself.com, not gfy.com.. could that be why?

                          A forum this big is a hard thing to manage. I have to give them credit. At the same time I know what it takes to run a site like this and honestly there's no excuse for the slowness at times.

                          Still - I love me my GFY.

                                  Well I'm sure Lensman would be the first to tell you that sometimes you have to say it like it is....even if it hurts someones feelings. I really feel like Lensman (and Playboy) have dropped the ball on this issue and could do something about it if they really wanted to. I think it's a terrible way to treat the loyal members of GFY and a big slap in the face to us all.

                                      Frustrating at times with bumps and lag, I agree.

                                      It's true I don't ever remember it happening before the take over. Though I'm sure the site has grown enormously every year. It would be nice though to see them lock it down. Obviously good IT people can deal with any type of traffic and resource hogging sites...

                                          Anybody else having any problems with GFY? It's been happening a lot for me over the last few days. I'm using the latest version of Firefox but also having problems with IE. GFY starts to load and then stalls for a very long time before opening (if it opens at all). Then all of a sudden it starts working ok for a while and then it starts stalling again. Any of you guys experiencing this? If not, wonder why I'm having so much trouble with it?

                                              only been here a couple months.... i have not read any complaints before this thread... but it is very slow for me about half the time i try to come here.

                                              i figured it was cause i have a somewhat unreliable romanian internet connection, but i guess not.

                                              i didnt even know playboy owned this forum

                                                      We have working on the interrmittant slowness, but it's no secret that GFY has been the subject of periodic bot attacks.

                                                      But Dean's attacks on our parent company are uncalled for.
