Got an AT&T 2.4ghz digital with answering machine that is expandable to 8 handsets as well as a panasonic 2.4 ghz with two handsets that also happens to be an energy star approved phone (free rebate YEA!).
Both take headsets, both have answering machines. Both fantastic phones. Though the panasonic you can download other ring sounds and crap if you want. -

gigasets, really the best there are, amazing on distance, got old ones over 10yrs old and new ones and they rock, not cheap but if you look here in Europe, every biz has them.
