My parents are coming to visit me for a week in December and when they told me they were planning on staying at my place I suggested they stay at a hotel instead. I have extra room but the last time they stayed I had no privacy, my Mom cleaned every fucking inch of my already clean place and found some things I didn't want her to find. Plus they argue quite a bit and its annoying. Am I being a dick by suggesting they stay in a hotel instead?

Your mom does not want to stay in a hotel cause your dad probably tries to get all freaky. Hotels do that to men sometimes, I think it has something to do with the whole prositute fantasy.
