OK, first of all, I'd like to thank ANYwebcam.com for their MAIN sponsorship. We have all kinds of sponsorships available including up to 2 more main sponsors and a bunch of small and mid size ones.
I've had my doubts on whether this Players Ball would actually happen because it's during CES week and also on a weekend, which means clubs want a ton of money, so it's been a very tough process.
Announcement #1 - We've decided to change the night of this event, the new date will be January 6th, Friday night. Originally it was going to be on Saturday, January 7th.
Announcement #2 - NEW VENUE - It's just about a done deal, we have a verbal agreement which will be finalized any day, looks like Club Rio is the best option for us. Not only can it hold the maximum number of people (about 2000), it's also set up so everyone can see the live artists performing and it has very nice VIP areas for our sponsors. Huge thanks to JC and XXXJay from OCCash.com with helping me on the scouting process, their contact was the key.
Those are the 2 biggest announcements. Now the other questions you will all have will be, who's performing.
At the moment we're waiting to see if Ludacris takes our offer, if he's going to over price himself, we'll have to move on to some other very good options. We also have the #1 Mixtape DJ, Clinton Sparks. He did Eminems Anger Management tour mixtape, he's the hottest DJ out. And of course we have DJ Evan as always to hold it down the rest of the night and during the Big Woody Awards (sponsored by PussyCash.com)
