As someone who is against mass-immigration (not all immigration however) I will try to give you some understanding of where I am coming from.

For one, you are very wrong about this essentially: "You'd never see a Mexican if you went back to Romania or whatever shit european country your forefarthers immigrated from." You may be correct in saying that there would be few Mexican's, but regardless there is still mass-rampant migration throughout the West. French, British, Dutch, etc are all on their way to being less than 50% of the population in their homelands within 50-100 years in any event, so the issue still remains.

Secondly I will just say that most people prefer to live amoung people with similar values, culture, language, and essentially ethnicity. This is the reason Mexicans move into Mexican areas, and this is why White people move out once an area turns Mexican. In my opinion (within nations such as America and Australia), on the whole it is nothing more complicated than that. When it comes to Europe there is however also the added issue of indigenous populations becomming a minority in their own nations in my opinion, and that is a whole huge and valid issue in itself.
