    How do you remove directx from your pc?

    I want to reinstall directx. And there is no way I want to do a windowsupdate

          as fucked as it is - do an update. Start it, pop in a vid, and forget about it. Hopefully when you come back it actually updated, instead of getting hung up on an error 13 seconds after you walked away.

                  might as well just reinstall windows.. or use the windows restore

                      what he said! I have never found a way to uninstall it! But you can update, but only to newer versions!

                          The file qasf.dll is an old version, which could cause problems.
                          You should reinstall DirectX to get the latest version.

                              try finding directx from msconfig and see if u can remove it

                                  DirectX is right next to your memory slots on the motherboard, slipmy pour a glass of cold water over it and it'll be disabled
