Believe me I learned this when I was a student. There is nothing new to me in that wikipedia's article. The problem is different. Estonian government
officially support Nazi SS veterans. Ok, let's consider them as fighters for independence. But what's about 1000's of civilians (mostly Jews) killed by those "fighters"? The main goal of Estonian SS brigade were punitive operations, but not the direct confrontation to Soviet army. And now... they decided to remove the monument to soldiers who died fighting against Hitler. That's a real shame IMHO.
