Please explain to me how this would help my retention when the primary goal of this free plugin with upsells is to get my members signed up for your sites?

Sorry man! But seriously.... congrat's on the new Gold Players Club offer. It's a great idea and the smaller to medium size sites stand to do really well with it. It's win-win.

I'm never a hater and rarely make posts like this, but when I see someone trying to do something wrong and make false claims I'm going to chime in.

It's not a new concept. I used Pornication's free members plugin back in 99 when I was a Newb. There are plenty more.

Now answer my question. You say this will help my retention. Please explain how.

We don't steal your members they will cancel eventually this way you increase your revenue either by retention or upgrading them in the future.

you can also get your members to convert better by offering them a lifetime free membership if they join your site. so many marketing possibilities

First off if you understood the power of this tool you wouldn't be making lame posts but here it goes

You can use it as a marketing tool to gain more members by offering them a lifetime membership to Goldplayersclub if they join your site or use it as an upgrade feature but this is an advanced idea only big programs do.

Now for your existing members you can offer them a free lifetime membership to Goldplayersclub if they stay another month or you can just add it as a bonus section in your members section since we have over 20GB of content in there.

Once they leave you or if they just upgrade you will get paid $30 on the trial or 50% on recurring for life so they are still your member

If you don't see the potential of this tool don't use it

I would be cheating them because they are expecting me to retain their members they send me so they can earn recurring income month after month.

By putting your plugin inside my members area would be nothing but a traffic leak for my members giving them a chance to leave my site and sign up for another. Yah I would make money if they did sign up but my affiliates would not and I would be making money off of their member and in my book that would be cheating.

The chances that my member would recur are greatly reduced if they have signed up and are paying for a new site.

Instead of using your free plugin with upsells I would either buy some more filler content or another plugin with NO UPSELLS and not worry about losing my members.

If you made more of the surfers/members maybe you could pay more to your affiliates in %

thus increasing your traffic and sales but what do I know

I make webmasters 4cents on uniq and you make them 2 cents on uniq

That's fine man, for members that cancel, that's not what I am coming down on you for though.

You want people to put this in their members areas for ACTIVE members, that's stupid for a site owner to do and cheats the revshare affiliates members.

Most programs say they are 60 or 70 % but when you do the math you are being lied too.

I pay exactly what I say. No secrets.

and on top of that my affiliates still have access to their 3rd party accounts with ccbill and paycom, we have all the bells and whistles of a PPS program. In your case we have more.

Its not going to change a thing as far as your retention goes but you can believe what you want. I wouldn't build a product if it was going to decrease the value of your member.

I use Executive stats and I can't shave even if I wanted to..

Like you said lets see who makes the webmasters more I'm down for a heads up challenge I will come up with a way of doing it fair next week. I always put my money where my mouth is.. Hell I'm the only person to ever pay webmasters to post there worst conversions with me on GFY. Thats how secure I am about my products.

I have never fucked anyone over in this biz going on 9 years now and don't plan on starting any time soon
