    adultwebware gone??

    For those who are using adultwebware, have you been able to get hold of their support in the past 2 weeks?

    if your site get broken, no one will fix it, this is pretty scary shit.

    are they simply gone?

                  I use Xtract for my member's area and they've disappeared as well.

                  Thankfully I have the source code and an able coder.

                                                                          i made some really strange experiences with them as well, their site promises that got all those features but when you really want them, they say they will do it custom for you, they made me a quote of 30K for the features they listed

                                                                          i then decided to choose eX
                                                                          http://www.elevatedx.com/ but was pretty similar there, only the price is kinda human (same as MAS) but everything they list on the site must be coded in too, (which will cost extra) well i am not a coder but when you want all features which they claim to have on the site you end up by far more than the 4K

                                                                          that said, i think MAS would be the best to choose nowadays the point is, that MAS got a documentation, even video tutorials, but best part is that the template is done with easy template marks, like every TGP script uses, so you can edit your templates self, on eX you should be capable with XSL and Carma from TMM you should be capable of doing Smarty.

                                                                          So when youre not a expert programmer and don´t want to spend much more than you thought you have to go for MAS

I'm not going to call this individual out as he knows he fucked up, but the moral of the story is dont believe anyone based only on how frequent they post.

You would be amazed at how many "software companies" in this industry are nothing more than one or two people doing the coding, sales, support, bug fixes, design, etc.

                                                                                                                      Also, be aware of software companies that use outsourced employees. Most will have direct access to sensitive data and that can get very tempting to someone in a 3rd world country on a $300/month salary.

                                                                                                                      Don't just look at the product but the people behind it too.

                                                                                                                      This isn't a knock on AWW as I'm not 100% sure of their situation.
