Im not sure about WME being used to capture, as I only use it as a plug in for Premiere. I'd say if you gonna go all out and use HD, you need to get pro/semi-pro software to eidt/capture with. Get a copy of Avid, Premiere or Vegas.Comment

That happens often with DV cams and "bad" firewire cards.
Of course I don't know what is the reason...

i use ulead media studio pro 8 to capture from the cam and for editing - but this is not the best way since scene detection doesn't work with the sony cam. i will now try premiere pro with hd plugin. i was told that should do itComment
