Dead animals, poop (especially cat) and grubs. Dogs love to roll in all of that. BTW...there are tons of those patches at that park. ;) Ours used to walk about 10 ft. then flop down and roll.
If you're going to the Buena Vista, you better have an irish coffee for me. (It's 5 o'clock somewhere so don't use the excuse you're going for breakfast.)
