What type of sites are you wanting to send traffic to, and what type of site didn't convert with Choker's traffic?

The site is a strip poker site. Downloadable windows software.

I assume chokers traffic only wants pictures and such.

I found the click thru rate was appalling less than 4 in 100 would follow a link out of the landing page.

It was costing me more per qualified visitor than advertising on google. which was profitable once but not anymore

I'll be brutally honest here, as someone who has developed and sold successful adult software in the past, but I think it may be your landing page that's not doing the trick rather than the traffic. That's of course assuming that it's the one in your sig.

If your Google traffic is clicking through the landing page it may be because they already have a slight idea of what it is they're getting to, based on the fact that there's more text in the description before they click.

Choker's traffic is going to be slamming through without much of an idea of what it is that you're trying to sell to them. If they hit that page and it doesn't get them excited to go to the next one, then they're gone.

My advice would be to first liven up that landing page; grab people by the balls the second they hit it, and don't let them go. My first thought when I hit the page was -boring- and if I hadn't been trying to take a deeper look I would have left in less than a second.

Those are my thoughts, at least, based on not having all of the information.

The front page is not my choker landing page, its designed to catch the google bot. up until a couple of days ago we were first page on google. but google is dancing and I am not sure where we will end up after it settles. currently we have fallen to p27 in the serps simply adding to my woes.

The landing page I used for Chokers was more like the second page. But You are correct it could do with a lot more of something. I am a programmer thru and thru. so while I try to steer clear of it I find I tend to become wordy.
