alright so i saw this caddy sitting on the side of the road recently and decided to go ahead and buy it. help me pick out some wheels for it and tell me what you think i should go with.
i know the pic doesnt really show it but some of the trim is already gold like the emblems and what not.
one of the things i was considering was leaving the wheels that are on it on it. they're nice chrome, this pic was when i saw it before i cleaned them up. i can replace the center cap with a gold vogue cadillac cap and then buy some tires with a bigger whitewall, maybe some vogues.

or i can just go with a whole new wheel and tire.
With new tires those rims could look nice but i think when you take an used car like that you need to spice it up with either some small spokes or tuck some nice big rims on it. it's the only thing that really separates it from your dad's Caddi. you know what i mean?

yeah i know what you mean. i was thinking that some gold vogue caps and vogue tires would make it look clean old school. it doesnt really show on that pic there but those wheels are chrome and once i put some chrome polish on them they looked like mirrors and with some thick whitewall vogues it looks hot.
but i cant decide to do that, or get some 20's, or some daytons. personally i just go for the look i like i dont give a shit what it is and this one says old school to me. my other caddy is newer and has some mean looking 20's on it.
I see what your saying. If you make the white walls bigger and change out the centers it will set the tire off enough that it will look custom but still classic stock. It's not that old of a Caddi but just enough to keep it kinda stock and pull it off.
It would be cool if you could get the old stock Caddi spoke rims from the late 70's and 80's on that thing but i don't think anyone makes them to fit.
this is what i mean. this guy has the shit when it comes to cadillac and vogue stuff. this is the exact same wheel as mine, its just polished and cleaned with the vogue centercap with the gold in the middle and a bigger whitewall vogue tire and i like the look, what do you think vega?
Pimpstar rims contain full-color LEDs that you can program using your laptop and a wi-fi connection to show an image of your choice on each rim. You can also pre-program each wheel to alternate between up to 6 images at pre-set time intervals.

Yeah .. I like it. I wonder how the car would look if you lowered it 2 inches. I wonder how that would change the ride. Caddi has a special feel and you wouldn't want to lose that ..

my black one has 20's on it and you can feel the difference between it and this one. its a little more bumpy with the 20's on it, i definitely wouldnt go bigger than 20. this one with the cloth top and its a d'elegance model with all the gold accents just made me think old school when i grabbed it.

if you already have one on 20's then I would go with what you were thinking. It is a good one to keep stock because of the package. post some pics when your done.
