    Double Standards

    They are there, at least I believe so. For example, guys can be heavy weight wise, no problem. A women gains weight and she is considered fat. Here's another one, people are more relaxed with boys than girls. I don't know how many times I heard growing up, how it was different...I was a girl! LOL

    Boys and girls, men and women. What double standards can you think of? Should they exist?

              Double standards - Suck! But yes you are absolutely right. I noticed the same thing yesterday with bjufs thread about some girl being a slut. It's mindblowing.

                  Equal rights are cool as long it means both sexes are bound by them, which isn't the case.
                  Usually equal rights mean that men should do the dishes, but women aren't supposed to fix the car or mow the lawn.

                                      Oh for sure! Then again, I'm physically attracted to larger men and I'd rather be a lot leaner than I am so I guess I have the double standard also.

                                                                                      Double standards... ok. But the examples at hand make zero sense. You have to look at the wide picture. Guys are studs when they achieve sexual relations with multiple partners, because it is not so easy for guys. With chicks, they can run outside and yell "FREE PUSSY" and they will have guys all over them. So when a chick gives it up to multiple partners, there is no achievement there... she is just being easy. I grew up with 2 brothers, and my mother told me she was glad because girls were worse than boys... this is true. Especially for those girls that put a price on their bodies... this only proves that as you were growing up, either your daddy or his friends, maybe even a neighbor has done things with you and gave you money or items of value as hush payment, thus making you grow up believing guys will pay for your drinks and food and jewels etc. That is why you are sluts and we are studs.

                                                                                      And, in the other example... I happen to like fat chicks... but I would never fuck a fat guy. But for a few bucks or a nice dinner or a necklace... I know many girls who would.

                                                                                                  Things are a-changing in the new millenium, fat guys are not considered sexy at least not to me and most of my friends. Not saying that fat guys can't be sexy, there are some out there that can be, but most aren't. Like "chubby" is okay but really obese guys just like nasty. And most gray haired guys don't look "distinguished" LOL...they look OLD And most of them are dying it now so they can look younger, or getting hair implants to cover their bald spots. That should tell you right there that they don't like looking "OLD" just as much as women.

                                                                                                  But i think there will always be somewhat of a double standard when it comes to sex, but it's not like it used to be. Women having casual sex and waiting to have children and living life on their own terms is not looked upon as bad anymore, it's looked upon as independent.

                                                                                                  Unless of course she's having unprotected casual sex, which in that case, the woman is still usually considered a slut. And a guy having unprotected casual sex is still considered a horny stud. That's one that hasn't gone away and probably won't.

                                                                                                                          now c'mon ... guys who are overweight are still fat ... we just didn't read all those fucked up magazines growing up, so we don't give two shits about it =)

I've lived with both 5 guys and 5 girls ... and what I've found out is that women are out to fucking kill eachother ... and guys are just out to get laid. So of course it's more relaxed around guys.

She's still a friend and we now get along great. However, living with her totally killed our friendship. If she wasn't out to kill her latest 3-week bestfriend, she was out to kill me for reasons I still don't understand to this day. I've lived with my girl for 5 years now...and there's times that I wish I found men attractive so I wouldn't have to try to understand women. The sheer lack of logic occasionally makes me want to scream. Women have a totally different mindset to guys..
