Luckily not everyone can be hypnotized.
I participated in something similar at a fund raiser event. They hired one of these guys for entertainment and I volunteered at the beginning of the show. (was G rated though) Out of 20 or 30 people he dismissed about 5 or 6 of us because he could tell we were not going under his spell.
The remaing people, he had a pretty fun time with. Was pretty amazing and real because I knew several of the people that were left. He made them do all sorts of different stupid things.Comment

I've seen a few of these guys and it's never real. If you think carefully about the things they do, it's not realistic. For example, one guy had students at our college believe napkins were money. He didn't ask them to do anything (ie grab it all) just that if they see a napkin they will believe it's a dollar bill. (It was in a cafeteria btw)Originally posted by BV

He made each person do something different ie: made one lady believe she was a famous actress at an awards show, made one guy think he was dove hunting and that everytime he heard people clap he had to stand up and shoot all the lights (dove) out in the place.
That poor guy was there the whole show standing up and down shooting the lights while the hyptmotist went on with the show. lolComment
