:mad There's a maniac trying to break into my new house

I just moved into a nice townhouse in the old Montreal. It's a really wicked place except that there are a few bums and ****ups around once in a while. Good old Montreal.

Thursday afternoon 5:30 PM: I'm alone in the house building a dresser since we've been moved in for only 5 days. I'm on the 3rd floor when I hear the beep my door does when someone walks in. I climb down the stairs and as "Who is it?" Only to hear the door open and close again. I rush to the door, open it and ask a guy leaving if I can help him. Guy says it's wrong adress and leaves. Ok fine.

Thursday afternoon 5:35 PM: Calling my gf back after that weird event. I hear the door handle moving and someone screwing with the door (It's a lock with a code on it) I'm freaked, I open the door and yell at him. He says he's leaving.

Thursday afternoon 6:30 PM: My gf and I are gone, buying a new lock. The neighbours call the cops because there's a weird man fitting the description I gave them, waiting in front of the door and trying his key in the lock. Cops take him away. No one alerts us of this.

Thursday night 11:00 PM. Alarm system sounds, we hear codes being punched in the lock. Door bell rings repeatedly. I wake up, grab my hammer (kept it close in case) Go downstairs and recognize him through the window. He sees me and leaves. We call 911 and get the cops here quickly. They catch him and tell us his story so far: Guy thinks Halle Berry lives here. He has a fixation on our address and knows it. Says the star below the moon, then the numbers told him she lived here. Creepy stuff. We go back to bed, freaked out and we barely sleep the night.

Friday evening 10:30 PM: My gf and I are coming back from the restaurant and we see him from afar waiting by our door, ringing and waiting some more. We want the cops to catch him in the act so we wait and call 911 again. Cops come, we take this matter jokingly thinking he's gone for the night and hopefully for good. We have a good chat with the cops, they tell us there's only so much we can do since he's mentally ill and not considered dangerous.

Friday evening 11:00 PM: Ding Dong! Guess who it is? He's there, knocking repeatedly, ringing and triggering the alarm system trying bad codes in the lock. We call 911 agaiun, but this time they don't treat it with priority. We know it's Friday night and there's probably worse things going on in downtown Montreal. We call 911 again, 20 minutes later. We don't want to scare him away as we want the cops to catch him in the act. Cops come and beat his ass to the ground this time, saying he wasn't cooperati9ng. "Good" we think, he's learned his lesson. They take him to the mental hospital... again.

Saturday morning 2:00 AM: Here we go again! This time he's more aggressive, knocking harder and ringing repeatedly. I can see him through the door, looking in and trying the door then going back and waiting. I really want to get violent with him but with the way our system is made, it'll probably put me in jail and not him. We call 911, again, and this time they take him away for good.

The guy was creepy, short black hair, small glasses, not really big though at first I mistook his outfit for a nice suit and tie (saw him only quickly) He's obviously deranged. Funny thing is we live next to Berri street and it's a small alley behind it, so perhaps he thinks he found Alley Berri.

So I'm thinking of putting an electrical current through the door handle, going out and kicking his ass or bear spraying his face. The system doesn't work very well anyway since they can't force him to take his meds until he has committed a violent act, which he hasn't yet. As if breaking and entering, harassment and attemting breaking and entering isn't enough...

If he comes again I'll snap his pic and maybe a small video for your enjoyment.
