thats stupid to take out a second mortgage for your teeth, especially when you're ugly in general.. but if it makes you feel better about yourself (and we know how insecure you are), then go for it... but you can get them done in Thailand by an accredited hospital with Swiss doctors for about 1k... In fact, thousands of people from around the world come here for their dental work because of the savings...

So when you're paying your monthly payments for your teeth, the extra 29k you spent, you will look even stupider than you'll look with a busted face and nice teeth lol!!

I was planning on getting them done early next year in Thailand. Kman is right, very cheap to do there (but high quality) and people do come to Thailand from all over for all kinds of dental and plastic surgery.

For those who had it done... DOES IT HURT? I'm such a pussy when it comes to mouth pain.

I have some things I need to have done before moving on to the veneers...

1. Root canal on #19
2. Crown lengthening on #18 & #19 (Laser gum slicing)
3. Porcelain crowns on #18 & #19
4. Laser gum slicing across the gums... all of them.
5. Mold / Castings.

Sounds horrific, but it's not that bad.

Veneers -- filing?

There was no filing done when I got mine. But you are right about the color. Dentists try to convince you to match the color of your non-veneer teeth. I should have gone with a whiter white.

They roughed up the surface of my teeth so the veneers would have a better hold. I felt like Bugs Bunny with protruding teeth for two years. I lost my ability to whistle because I had my upper front teeth veneered. One thing I have noticed is although the front of the tooth looks fine, the back is stained. I don't think my dentist knew what he was doing.

Amp, I'm sure you have the best dentist available. Good luck. It is well worth the time and any pain you may feel, but the price is off the wall.
