Depends what you are talking about, if its just some casual relationship or a very long term relationship.

Not true at all. I've seen clicks.... I mean chicks, get completely devastated to the point of being completely irrational for weeks, even months after a breakup. One girl back in high school used to break into uncontrollable sobbing every time she heard the song "3 times a lady" by Lionel Richie. Said it was because her ex had played it for her a few times.

Males and females are the same in this respect..... some feel things very deeply and internalize/analyze ever moment of a failed relationship and lament over it for a long time, while others come off as cold-hearted insensitive uncaring shitheads who move on from someone just as easily as changing the station on the car radio.
