Forms all look very similar, they all have text fields, browse fields for photo uploads, a bit of text here and there, and generally laid out in a vertical manner, sometimes even with 2 or more columns though. They also tend to have a submit, and sometimes even clear button. Oh, and some people add a copyright to the bottom of every page they own, not meaning to necessarily "copyright" a form, because that would be ridiculous to think that someone would actually claim one. I guess it's possible though.
Btw, those pussy hurt comments made me literally laugh.

Make a new one that looks and acts the same, just so you can say you spent your own 10 minutes doing it even though it's going to do the exact same thing? It concerns me that whoever this mysterious designer is that Spunky hired to do this job...might be doing jobs for a lot of you folks. And you should be concerned that he might be stealing shit from other websites to build your projects. Some of you can't see far enough in front of you to realize this.
Some of you folks have never created anything in your life....how are you to understand how I feel? You have no idea what it's like to create something only to find someone has stolen and used your creation without your knowledge or approval. It doesn't matter if it's a form or a true work of art. There are quite a few people who posted in this thread that do actually understand my point of view. These are people who have created things that have been ripped off (and continue to be ripped off) by others in our industry. This is OK??? Is there a difference between ripping off some pictures and ripping off the design and layout of a submit form and the "unique" text that accompany that form? Stealing is stealing and a thief is a thief. It doesn't matter if it's a little html or a picture.
That's how I feel about this thing and that's about all I have to say about it

Dean found out that Spunky was using his form. Dean contacted Spunky.
Spunky refused to suck or stroke off Deans ego in exchange to use the script. Dean is upset and wants retribution, admission of wrongdoing, a public inquistion. Which is a little overboard for such a small infraction between webmasters.
All Dean had to do was calmly contact Spunky and inform him of the issue. Knowing Spunky as I do...he probably would have said he would have changed the text for a quick start, because thats all Spunky knows how to do..and put his programmer on it.
However Dean was all wired and nut juice hyped up and Spunky told him, this aint the biggest thing in the world to get jazzed up about...it can be handled lowkey....and that was not the ego stroking that Dean wanted. He clearly wants Spunky to bow down at his feet and request to let his lowly unworthy self...to use Deans script....which was given to him apparently be the coding gods of above.
I don't blame Spunky one bit. Approach is the not only the key, but it defines your motive and intent. The form usage itself plays about a 5% role here.
Dean wants his ego stroked on a constant basis around here. I've ready plenty of his posts.
So to that I say...if you want your ego sucked, stroked and massaged...goto an Asian Massage parlor.....but don't expect every webmaster around here to bow down at your feet when you find some petty fucking thing here and there that can serve as a vehicle for you to obtain that purpose....
Try not to be so freaking so stuck on yourself that everybody and their brother is lining up around the corner to steal your precious code.

Copying is one of the highest forms of flattery, You want to look like a big person, next time instead of calling someone that's doing pretty well in this business Not copying people an ass hole and instead start the thread by thanking someone like him for copying you.
That's what I would have done.

Damn, how may of us really have a copyright that is enforceable on any of our web sites, not many, yet we all put it on the bottom of our pages like we own it. I bet any court of law would not stand up, we all rip each other off, but that is how it is, so unless it is real misuse of character and deceving to the end user take it as a compliment that someone liked your work enough to rip it off.
