I would hazard a guess that most sites never make much at all.

A few make millions. Those that do are run by people that know what they are doing.

thats impossible to answer.
depends on what you do with 1 domain.
are you using it to only submit freesites & galleries or starting your own paysite? adult or mainstream? those few questions can mean the differences between low thousands figures and over a million dollars.

Regardless of what your site(s) may or may not make - my suggestion is to register your business as either a sole proprietorship or incorporate it. That way if you don't generate enough revenue with the sites themselves, you can at least enjoy a few tax write-offs on the business.

We incorporated a few years ago, and since we do our own photography...we can be quite creative at tax time when we write-off photo props and gear (who's to say what is and isn't a "prop").

Don't expect to be Howard Hughes by this time tomorrow.
