    Ok I can officially say it now, Republicans may be "crooks and liars" but Democrats are the biggest fucking pussys in the world.

                              The war is lost in some way, at least the goal of the whole operation will never be reached, no matter how long the troops stay or how many more troops you send.

                              The big mistake was to take a system that works wonderful in the US and try to export it to a country with a totally different history and background. The arab mentality is so much different from ours, they are happy that Saddam is gone for sure, but establishing a stable democracy or real freedom in this region is pretty much impossible...because they simply don't want it, they have their own views about religion, politics, society and they are totally different from ours.

                              Troops can control a territory, they in fact do, but they can't control the minds of the people living there. It's not europe, it's not WWII.

                              So, in a classic definition, the enemy surrendered, the dictator is gone, call it a victory if you want...but realistically it boils down to many wasted lives, many wasted dollars and a region that will stay unstable for many years to come.

                                          The real cost to politicans isn't in dead soldiers, they are just disposable cannon fodder. It's $$$$$$. How much has this war cost so far?

                                                                              Even repubs had to admit that vietnam was lost at some point. i suppose they are pussies too. if only they would of listened to common sense and pulled out a lot sooner many needless deaths could of been avoided. Though not the same situation, i think america needs to stick around because they put iraq into the state of total chaos in the first place.

The dunce in the White House had the expert in his cabinet, he ignored the Powell Doctrine, the very doctrine that could have suceeded.

                                                                                                                                                                      The war in Iraq was lost when Bush ignored the military when they told him they needed more troops before the invasion. He ignored his Sec of State the man who managed the successful 1991 invasion and the doctrine of overwhelming force and listened to Rumsfeld.
