Nah, he's wrong... it's not "is lost"... it's "was lost" The war was lost a long time ago, they're just prolonging the defeat at this point, in hopes of somehow digging a way back out of it. The intention was never to go in to fight terror, nor to liberate the people... if these people are there fighting for these false motives, then the war was never winnable to begin with.
