'do you have a fire extinguisher in you home?' 'do you have an earthquake kit?' 'do you have flashlights and candles?' 'do you have a spare tire in yer car?' . . last time there was a murder in the building I lived in (several years ago) it took the cops about an hour to get there after I called about shots fired . . try sitting in an apartment while 2 peps are being murdered next door with a shotgun and waiting an hour for the cops and you don't have any way to defend yerself . . you might find that interesting. .
