I'm All Ready For Ski Season :)

Just spent the weekend up at Blue Mountain with my wife at our new ski chalet. We just took possession of it September 30th so this is our 1st weekend up there and wanted to take stock of what we need to get for it. Place is going to be a big party place this winter I can GUARANTEE it, here are a few pics.

I also got my season pass, all I need now is to get my snowboard waxed up and I am good to go!

Anybody else ski/snowboard Blue Mountain at all and want to come up and join me this winter?

Thanks dude, it's a really fun place! The chalet is a bit "rustic" but we're planning on renting it out when we are not using it. There is no point in spending thousands on buying all new furniture that could possibly get ruined.

My fiance and I would love to come up and hit the slopes!!!! Been looking for a good excuse to come up there for awhile now and in the past 2 days ive had two.

I'm psyched for ski season. Driving back from Oregon last week they already have snow on Mt. Shasta in NoCal but nothing skiable. I'm heading to Tahoe a week from Monday but too early to ski there too. Snow damnit, snow!

Nice place! I have a house in Breckenridge, Colorado so I get up a lot. I LOVE skiing. Copper Mountain is my favorite place here in Colorado.

Can't wait to hit the slopes.

The NICEST thing is the rent per weekend in the winter is $1500, and for the New Years getaway (3nights) $4650! We are working on expanding our property management business to run this chalet and probably offer the same rental / property management service to other chalet owners in the area. If you're around Toronto, the major ski show is going to take place October 13-16th. If you need some new skis, go up the 13th and check out the ski swap. Even if you're not looking to buy skis, the show is well worth the admission.
