Spammers spoofing email addresses! Lensman and Smashbucks Joe inside please!

Me thinks just cause someone calling themselves "Lensman" sent you something in regards to a spoof doesn't necessarily mean it was Lensman...although it could have been.

Fucking spoofers die.

damn spammers been using my email as a from address and all week im getting replys from people who got spammed

I've been spammed with a spammer spoofing my own email address.

Me too and it's pissing me off!

theres obviously a rogue here taking random wm emails. maybe just to cause trouble. who knows. i have been getting spam to my wm email addresses in my sig and i don't use them anywhere but 3 or 4 wm boards.

Yeah, this is a good way for the spammers to try to keepout of trouble, and put the trouble on someone else. The sad thing is, that I would support the government in chasing the spammers, over fucking with legit adult webmasters.

i don't beleive there is much you can do about someone spoofing your email. i actually called up my isp a couple months to talk to them about it. i didn't want a misunderstanding getting my internet shut off.

they basically said there was nothing they could do.

I sent you the email to contact this person because I tracked the codes from the emails and your program affiliate code is in the links. Contact me and I'll help you track this affiliate down if you need help. We only sent you an email about this because all our corporate email accounts are being spammed by this person and would appreciate it if you could contact them and have our addresses removed.

Site owners beware.. Spammers like this will get you sued by the citizens of Michigan and Utah and other states soon to follow. Here?s some good info that was passed along to us:

it was me - when I spam webmasters it get better views if Lensman or Pimpdogg is set as the sender of the mail

On a different note I was a little scared to start this thread. I know there are a lot of scammers/spammers in this biz. And I don't ever want my name around those people. I also understand the first way to let people know you are a legit webmaster doesn't involve listing peoples names in a GFY thread, let alone in the title. With that said, I am appreciative that Lensman and $pikes have been cool with dealing with this.

I also equally appreciate everyone's help with helping get rid of this guy. And I am also happy that I am not the only one that has had this happen to them.
