All other college campuses are on alert.
Schools and high schools too. With weather storm hitting n'east it would be a great cover for a mass killing like this if they guys could get away.
Not good. Very, very sad. Don't know who's kids are there or who I know who is teaching there. Will be on pins and needles for awhile.Comment

Nearly anyone has a gun in western Canada maybe with the exception of BC... THey have a bit of a cowboy culture like you'll find in some part of the US where they have their kids hunt, etc.. yet.. you don't see much crime in those part of Canada especially compared to the US... So gun control certainly do not seem the reason..

The full scenario is not out on the table yet but preliminary states one or two gunmen, diversionary tactics early on that got the other students bunched up for safety. Any jarhead on GFY knows the one thing you do NOT do is bunch up!
That gunman or gunmen knew to start a diversion at one end of the campus, wait til the students were bunched up in dorms and classrooms at the other end and it was a turkey shoot from there.Comment

Unreal how unorganized these tactics are, considering the number of shootings that have given us better blueprints. They are reporting he was shooting with 9mm's....NOT with machine guns, as was initially reported. I don't see how it's possible that he shot or killed almost 60 people with only two 9mm's. This thread just reminded of the thread a couple of week's ago when people were debating what age should we teach our kids how to shoot. It was mostly people under the age of 10. That really bothered me.
