    Dreamhost down again for you?and a better hosting?

    Is dreamhost down for you too?I have a very bad experience this year with dreanhost,and I just renew my account in Feb.Sites down again and again,500 internal error....If your hosting is so bad,how can you make some money?

    Anyone can recommend another hosting which is more better?

                                                                  servage will term you if you get anywhere near 10% of the whatever transfer u get

                                                                  i was skeptical about webair when i first went with them, but they have proven to be really good to me. Great guys

                                                                                      In 3 years with 2 dedi servers webair was down many times.

                                                                                      Splitinfinity was an absolute disaster for us too. Our box failed, failed, then failed again, and then just to mix it up failed even more.

                                                                                      Be prepared to pay for solid hosting and go with isprime, natnet, jupiterhosting etc.

                                                                                          I have about 30 sites at dreamhost, they had been down once for longer period (I believe 2 hours or so) and two more times for say 5 minutes or so

                                                                                          that's on a $9.95 for 1000 gigs account, many listings on the hun and some big mgps too

                                                                                          on the other hand two of my other hosts that nobody bashes have given me far more grief - sites getting hacked, downtime, emails and ICQs never get answered....


                                                                                          its quite simple actually, if its for free sites, tgps, blogs, etc there's nothing wrong with dreamhost, if you are hosting 10 million daily uniques site then pay a bit more for a more reliable host

The disaster is a scale created by insufficient budget, hence your disaster not ours. Next time think before you talk. Nuff said.

                                                                                                                                  I host a small site on Dreamhost and in the 18 months it's been there i think it's been down twice for no more than 2 hours. Once was a server upgrade which they notified me about.
                                                                                                                                  Still if you're not happy with them, I also use www.Serverprovider.com which are excellent!
