    Do you use MSG to cut down on salt?

    I don't use MSG, I'm asking for a friend who is considering doing that.

    More water and continuing to consume salt instead of MSG sounds like a better alternative. Lowering existing sodium levels (if they're not high) might cause hydration issues as well especially if this person lives in a warmer climate where they might sweat more

      I'm not a healthcare pro, however, MSG is used for umami and not for a salt alternative...

        Cool; because I added more water to her liquor bottle after I made some drinks.
